Eighty years ago, on June 9, 1938, Ann Wheelwright Hunter was born to Irene and Gilbert Wheelwright.
Ann has spent her 80 years focused on the things she loves: family, church, traveling, sewing, quilting, shopping, skiing, gardening, temple and missionary service, ball games, dance recitals, horse shows, solitaire, reading, camping and family history.
She keeps young by staying in touch with childhood friends.
But above all, she loves being with her family. She and Max have been married 61 years and have lived and raised their family in Hooper. They have three children, nine beautiful and talented grandchildren and 10 darling great-grandchildren so far.
Ann is busy from sunup to sundown. If you can't find her on her birthday, try in town. She will be getting a pedicure with her granddaughters.
We love our mom and are proud of her tremendous example of service throughout her life to her family, the LDS Church and the community of Hooper.
